What To Bring With You
Here is a list of what you should bring with you for a day out, especially for the longer Hiking Experiences where we will be in open terrain and for longer hours! I will update you on what the weather is looking like closer to your adventure and anything specific to your booking, but, this is Scotland and the Inner Hebrides and the conditions can change rapidly so it is always best to be prepared!
If you don’t have a piece of kit, please get in touch in advance and I’ll see if I have a spare or can source one that you can borrow for the day.
The essentials:

Rucksack

Boots or good trail or fell shoes with soles which will grip on rock, grass and mud

Waterproof jacket (with hood)

Waterproof over trousers

Thermal top

Fleece top

Warm hat and extra Buff
-
Gloves or mitts
-
Spare layer e.g. fleece top

Food & Drink (sandwiches, cereal bars, chocolate, 1 litre of water or tea)

Fully charged mobile phone

Any personal medication
In sunny weather:

Sunhat

Sun cream

Sunglasses
In midge season (May - September roughly):

Midge repellent (Smidge, you can purchase on Raasay Community Shop or Raasay House)

Don't forget your camera, or have plenty storage space on your phone for all the amazing pictures you will take during the day!
